CONCEPT + DESIGN

The first step is to get in touch with us to discuss your proposed project.

We will arrange a time to meet you in person at your section or our home office to discuss your plans and ideas in relation to the site.

If you already have plans, we can go ahead and start pricing out your project. Otherwise, we encourage our clients to use one of our preferred architects to create a design that is going to suit your lifestyle and work within your budget. During the concept stage we discuss your ideas, make suggestions and show you how your home will look. This is the perfect time to make any changes or adjustments with the architect.

STEP 4

Pricing + contract

Now we can start putting together a full price for you. We will organise a meeting to sit down and discuss product specifications and works required. This gives you the chance to ask any questions you may have and make sure you’re aware of everything that will be included in the price. We want to make sure our pricing is as clear and transparent as possible. Once you are happy with the plans and specifications, we will price the project and present you a quotation and summary. Once this quote has been accepted, we will prepare a Master Builders building contract for you to sign. This contract offers a 10-year Master Builder’s Guarantee.

STEP 5

CONSENTS

Once the contract has been signed and the deposit has been paid, the construction drawings will be submitted to Council for building consent. It takes approximately 20 days for the construction drawings to be processed through Council before the build can commence. During these 3 weeks it’s a perfect opportunity to choose products, colours, material fixtures and fittings.

STEP 6

CONSTRUCTION

Once the plans have been approved by Council the construction can begin. Operations Manager Greg Oswald will keep in touch with you throughout the building process to make sure your build runs smoothly. You will be provided access to our online platform Buildxact which gives regular updates along with full visibility of any changes you’ve made and associated costs.

STEP 7

HANDOVER

It’s move in day and time to handover the keys. Your home will be professionally cleaned before you move in, and we will provide you with a comprehensive handover pack with copies of the build plans, specifications, colours and finishes. It will also include product warranty and maintenance information. All homes come with a 12-month warranty and 10-year master build guarantee so you can sit back, relax and enjoy your beautiful new home.
